I actually drove Linksys tech support to their wits' end; after sixty minutes on the phone with tech support level one, they shunted me up to tech support number two, who after thirty minutes advised me to just go out and buy a different product. I've never had that happen before. In the past support people have always been these sinister djinns who within fifteen seconds have identified your obscure hardware conflict and told you to go disable your microphone driver or something.
The occasionally dicey position of aesthetic response: I ran across this article, and before I realized the awful particulars my first thought was "What a beautiful photograph."
